Caroline Hyman

Working from her studio near Henley–on–Thames, Caroline Hyman is a widely exhibited portrait and still life photographer.

She is available for portrait and still life commissions.

For portraiture, Caroline prefers to use black & white film and available light, whenever possible, for its softness and natural qualities.
Equipment is kept to a minimum, allowing her to work in a calm, informal and relaxed manner, and her subjects to be natural and to be themselves.

Caroline's still life images all originate on monochrome film, and the limited edition silver prints made from each negative are individually developed, toned, and in many cases, hand tinted by her.
